Reveal Kids: Building Faith, Igniting Futures
At Reveal Kids, our mission is to create a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment where children can encounter Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. We believe even the youngest hearts can live out our three core pillars:
Serve Well – Children learn the joy of serving others through age-appropriate activities and lessons that encourage kindness, sharing, and helping both inside and outside the church.
Disciple Others – We equip kids to grow in their faith and share God’s love with their friends and family, raising up the next generation of leaders who carry the light of Christ into their schools and communities.
Love God – Through worship, creative teaching, and hands-on Bible learning, kids discover how much God loves them and how to build a lifelong relationship with Him.
Reveal Kids isn’t just childcare: it’s a place where every child can experience the presence of God, develop a strong foundation of faith, and begin walking out their calling with joy.
At Reveal Church we believe that how we receive the little children is how we receive Christ and become developed in literacy and leadership. . For that reason, kids are centred in our community. Learn more here about what exactly means.
In 2022, the National Assessment of Educational Progress reported that only 40% of Georgia’s fourth graders and 31% of eighth graders were proficient in reading. Additionally, a study by the Annie E. Casey Foundation found that 36% of third graders in Georgia are not reading at grade level—underscoring the widespread nature of the state’s literacy crisis.
The Literacy Crisis: Why Early Reading Matters
Reading proficiency is not just a skill—it’s a gateway to academic and lifelong success. Children who can't read by third grade are four times more likely to drop out of high school. Alarmingly, 88% of students who don’t graduate were struggling readers in third grade.
In low-income communities, 83% of children aren't reading at grade level. These students face compounding challenges—poor health, lack of support, food insecurity, and emotional stress—that hinder learning.
Georgia ranks 42nd in the nation for literacy, with a 76.4% rate. The issue worsened during the pandemic; as of 2023, only 56.5% of Atlanta Public School students were reading at grade level. These numbers highlight a pressing need for focused literacy intervention—especially in our most vulnerable communities.
